Lambda Beta Chapter

The Lambda Beta Chapter is based in the California State University, Northridge in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Founded in 2007, the chapter has a rich history of inducting several outstanding students and professional members since its inception. IEEE-HKN’s 2016 President, Dr. S. K. Ramesh was inducted into HKN as a professional member when our Chapter was formed when he was dean of the college in 2007. Professional members such as Congressman Tony Cardenas, an Electrical Engineer who represents the San Fernando Valley in the US Congress, Ms. Peggy Nelson, Vice President (retired) of Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, and many others have since been inducted into the Lambda Beta chapter.
